As Temps Rise, Clark Pool Becomes Cooler than Ever
The recent swelter has brought larger than usual numbers to the community pool.

Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo tells Patch the Clark Community Pool has had a record number of members and guests in attendance last weekend.
"'Terri Rodrigues, working the camera to take pictures of joining members, said, 'We couldn’t keep up with all the new members signing up,'" reports Bernardo.
Bernardo attributes the high turnout to either the sudden spate of blistering sun and 90-degree temperatures or to a fewer number of people going down the shore.
The Clark Pool, at 201 Oak Ridge Road, is now open for summer Monday through Friday from 12:30-8:30 p.m. and from 10:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
