Clark Sept. 11 Service to Honor James Nelson

Nelson died while working at the scene to save others when the towers collapsed.

Clark will hold their annual 9/11 memorial service at 8:45 a.m. today at James A. Nelson Memorial Park on Broadway and Grant. 

Nelson, 40, was a Port Authority police officer and lived in Clark with his wife Roseanne and two daughters Anne and Caitlin. Nelson died while working at the scene to save others when the towers collapsed. Nelson was the only Clark resident lost in the attacks.
