For Clark resident Kathleen Fisher, the invasion is in full force. Click play on the video above to see the cicadas at Fisher's Oak Ridge Road home next to the Clark pool.

"I'm not getting too close, because they freak me out!" says Fisher in the video, as she approaches the bugs attached to a tree and mound of cicada shells below.

Known as the East Coast II brood, these cicadas will emerge between April and June. The result? A 7 kHz buzz could fill the region as the cicadas try to attract mates.
