Deidra McIntyre, Neighbor

Originally from Malverne, NY, now living in central New Jersey, my family - The Ramseys - became the first African-American family to move into Malverne.

In the 1990s, I worked as editor of The Baldwin Citizen and later The Spring Creek Sun (in Brooklyn). By the late 1990s, I served as production manager for a now defunct online community, called theglobe.com. Finally, in the early 2000s, I was a public high school teacher in Brooklyn.

Now, I am a book and ebook publishers as well as a print and web media consultant and producer.
