Clark police activity from May 13 - 20, 2013: Shoplifting May 18, 5:27 p.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Kimberly Miller, age 44, single, unemployed of 232 Terrill Road in Scotch Plains for shoplifting from the ShopRite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. She was also charged with obstruction of justice, and she was detained on outstanding warrants totaling $1,953 from South Plainfield and the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department. Kenneth Gaulette was the arresting officer. Clark police activity from April 29 - May 6, 2013: Shoplifting, Possession May 2, 10:01 p.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road and Walnut Avenue, police arrested Kathleen Freeman, age 39, single, unemployed of 30 Caswell Avenue in Fords for possession of a CDS (controlled dangerous substance) and for shoplifting from the ShopRite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. Clark police activity from April 15 - 22, 2013: Shoplifting April 18, 11:01 a.m. – At 10 Westfield Avenue, police arrested Janice Beuntelschiess, age 54, single, unemployed of 1295 Westfield Avenue in Clark for shoplifting at the 7-Eleven Market at 10 Westfield Avenue.
