Kumpf Students Make Snowflakes for Sandy Hook School

The Connecticut Parent Teacher Student Association asked for students to create paper snowflakes to decorate Sandy Hook students' new facility.

This release was submitted by the Clark School District. Students in Krista Chapman’s math class at Carl H. Kumpf School in Clark discuss symmetry and support the community of Newtown by making snowflakes.  The Connecticut Parent Teacher Student Association asked for students to create paper snowflakes to decorate their new facility. The goal for the project is when students of the Elementary School begin attending the new school in January the school will be a welcoming winter wonderland.  Students in Miss Chapman’s class are hoping that the snowflakes and decorated school can help put a smile on the young children of Sandy Hook Elementary.
