Crossroads to Hold Hurricane Sandy Benefit Friday

Guitarist Mark Karan, formerly of Grateful Dead alumni project "The Other Ones" and Bob Weir's "Ratdog," will headline with his band.

This release was submitted by Crossroads. Crossroads, Garwood's venerable music spot, will host a Hurricane Sandy benefit-concert on Friday December 7th. Guitarist Mark Karan, formerly of Grateful Dead alumni project The Other Ones and Bob Weir's Ratdog, will headline with his band. Composer/bassist Joe Gallant, whose 18-piece Illuminati Orchestra performs jazz arrangements of Grateful Dead music, will present his small-band project, Glowing Skull Ring. Juggling Suns, one of the tristate area's premiere Dead-inspired jambands, will also perform. Doors open at 6:30pm.
