How To Register Your Kids for Clark's Summer Rec Program

The summer rec program costs $30 per child for six weeks of activities.

This release was received from the Clark Recreation Department. Clark Recreation is gearing up for summer as they prepare for the ever popular summer recreation camp. Registrations are coming in daily for 6 weeks of FUN for only $30 per child. Don’t let your child miss out on this Recreation favorite. For information, applications, daily schedules and information, visit the rec office, the Clark website or call Ralph Bernardo at the rec. dept. – 732-428-8400. Registrations are also available for the Summer Rec Tennis Camp (Open to non-residents).

[PHOTO] Clark Recreation Receives Award for Winter Festival

The department was honored at the New Jersey Parks and Recreation Convention in Atlantic City.

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark Recreation was recently honored at the New Jersey Parks and Recreation Convention in Atlantic City. [PHOTOS] Clark Rec's New Comic Book Creation Class

Each week for six weeks children learn how to create their own comic books, including copy and artwork.

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark recreation introduced a new class this winter – Comic Book Creation. Each week for 6 weeks children learn how to create their own comic books including copy and artwork. Professional cartoonist Anthony Spaziano from Speezi Comics recently visited the class and gave pointers and direction on creating your own comic book characters. This is just one of the many classes offered thru the Clark Rec Department.

'My Fair Lady' Etiquette Program Now Offered Through Clark Rec

A program for girls ages 9 to 14, My Fair Lady Program of eight 90-minute classes that feature a new topic each week.

This release was received from the My Fair Lady program. The adolescent years are a fun, carefree time in every girl’s life. A time of many changes, it can also put a girl’s self-esteem to the test. They question, “If I’m not a kid anymore, but I’m not an adult yet, how do I fit in?” What if there was a program available that would help bridge this bittersweet gap between child and adulthood? There is now. The My Fair Lady Teen Image and Etiquette Program offers a positive, fun solution to the teen years. Clark Rec Begins Indoor Soccer Program

More than 350 children have signed up.

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark Recreation began its winter Indoor Soccer Program with over 350 children participating every Friday night and all day Saturday for the next six weeks. The Indoor Soccer Program is one of our most popular programs tells Rec Director Ralph Bernardo. For a nominal fee of $25 – the children enjoy six weeks of one hour games which is a nice way to get thru the doldrums of winter. [PHOTOS] Clark Family Skate Night at Warinanco Park

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark Recreation held their Annual Family Skate Night at Warinanco Park in Roselle on January 19th. All Clark residents were invited to partake in the Annual Private Skating Session at the Arena. Over 350 residents showed off their skating skills and a great time was had by all explained Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo. As an added bonus the entire Crusader ALJ Hockey Team was on hand to help first time skaters on the ice.

Clark Rec Kicks Off Friday Night Roller-Skating for Kids

Children from two-years-old through the fifth grade are invited to participate.

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark Recreation Kicked off their Winter Roller Skating program for the New Year. Children from 2 yrs old through the 5th grade are invited to participate in this FREE program every Friday night from 6 – 8 pm at the Clark Recreation Center.

Clark Rec Now Offers Free Zumba Gold

Move, shake, dance and stay fit.

This release was submitted by Clark Recreation. Clark Recreation started their Winter Programs and Classes. New this year is ZUMBA GOLD – for all Clark seniors to enjoy – free for all Clark residents. The class meets weekly (Thursdays at 10:00 AM) at the Rec Center for the next 6 weeks.
