I've been a regular customer for the past several years I've lived in Cranford. The cashiers have always been painstakingly slow. They have some antiquated credit card machines where they have to manually key in the number, not improving check out time. My dog is in puppy day care and I have gotten to the cashier at 6:30 pm and sweated whether I would be in Roselle by 7 to pick him up before the day care closed. We last night beat all. I was behind a customer with a SMALL bag of dog food. Took forever to ring her up. Then she decided she couldn't carry her own bag to the car. Well I thought, maybe she has a bad back. The cashier apologized and said she would be right back to check me out. Well the car must have been a ways because she was not right back. As she reentered the store she decided to help the next customer to their car rather than check me out. Happily I decided never to return. I discovered a great little pet shop on North Ave right across from the Shoprite in Garwood today that charged me $12 for the bone Pet Value has been charging me $20 for. Bye Bye Pet Value, Hello Cherry Brook Pet Supplies. You've got a new customer.
