This weekend marks one year since the death of Vera Pecoraro, the 73-year-old Clark woman found with her throat slit in her Rolling Hill Way home. While the Union County Homicide Task Force and the Clark Police Department continue the investigation, they are appealing to the public for any information that might lead to an arrest.

Clark Relay For Life Raises $146K for American Cancer Society

This year's American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Clark has raised $146,876.82 to support the society’s mission of saving lives from cancer. The top individual fundraiser was Renee Sarnicki, who collected $12,656.81 in donations. The top fundraising team was Rahway Regional Cancer Center with $51,514.89, led by Sarnicki, who is also the Relay for Life of Clark Survivor Chair, team captain and an RN at Rahway Regional Cancer Center.

Summer Concert Series Comes to Clark's Oak Ridge Park

The Union County Summer Arts Festival concert series begins its 53rd season of music. Check out our story for this year's schedule and lineup. The concerts in July will be at Echo Lake Park on the Mountainside-Westfield border and in August at Oak Ridge Park in Clark. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets are encouraged. Refreshments and snacks will be available from vendors.
