Clark Council meets: Clark Council meets for their second January meeting at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers above the police station. The meeting will include a presentation to Pop Warner football and cheerleading teams. Also, the council will introduce an ordinance to crack down on late-night solicitors and an ordinance to purchase two new fire engines and expand the Raritan Road firehouse. See the full meeting agenda here. Monday, 7:30 p.m.

Clark Library Lego club: Children in grades K-5 can come and create their own lego structures. Legos are provided by the library. Creations are displayed in the Children's Area. No registration required. Monday, 3:15 p.m.

Clark to honor student musicians at "Showcase of Success": The Clark Board of Education will be honoring the achievements of student musicians in District at the upcoming Board meeting’s Showcase of Success on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Arthur L. Johnson High School. Tuesday, 7 p.m.

Garwood council meets: Garwood council meets on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at borough hall. Agenda not yet posted. 

GWACC networking happy hour at Benvenuti: All current and prospective members of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce are invited to Benvenuti Italian Specialties & Catering to pass business cards and network with current and prospective GWACC members from the surrounding towns. Tuesday, 6 p.m.

Super Bowl party at Oh Brian's on the Green: Watch the big game at Oh Brian's, where you can take advantage of the $40 drinks-and-buffet package or all day specials. Or, have them cater your at-home party with party packages to go. Sunday.

Super Bowl party at Rosie's Wine Bar: Beginning at 2 p.m., there will be tailgating in front of the bar, with a grill and all. Rosie's will be serving brats, hot dogs and hamburgers outside, while inside there will be chicken chili, buffalo chicken wings and watching the game and commercials on multiple 50+inch HD screens. Sunday.
