NJ History Retrospective at the Garwood Library, Story Time at Barnes & Noble This Week

What's happening this week in Clark and Garwood.

Events for Jan. 13 – 19, 2014:

January crafts at the Clark Library: Drop by the library and make two fun crafts with Miss Nina. This program is for children in grades K - 5. Registration is required. Please register online at www.clarklibrary.org or call 732-388-5999. Monday, 3:30 p.m.

Financial aid night: College financial aid information night at Arthur L. Johnson high school. Monday, 7 p.m.

Story time at Barnes & Noble: Children can visit the store, in their PJs if they like, for free story time with Miss Mayra. Tuesday, 7 p.m.

'Timeline New Jersey' at the Garwood Library: Noted New Jersey author/photographer Walter Choroszewski will present a colorful audio-visual program at the Garwood Library entitled “Timeline New Jersey” looking back at the State from 350 years ago to today. Travel along a timeline from the primeval dawn of the Highlands through the Ice Age up to the present. Choroszewski will introduce New Jersey’s first people and early explorers, as well as take the audience through the Colonial and Revolutionary history of the State. Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Zion Lutheran Preschool registration: Zion Lutheran Preschool registration begins January 17. Spots fill up very quickly.  Please email marini1120@gmail.com for forms.  Call 732-382-7663 if you are interested in a tour. They offer 2.5, 3 and 4 year old classes. 3 and 4 year old's have a full day option. Friday.
