PHOTO: Runnells Hospital Thanks Clark Volunteers, Marian Connolly

Connolly would deliver the group's handmade wares for patients in need.

Marian B. Connolly, volunteer of the Clark AARP Chapter 3733, was presented a plaque at a special luncheon hosted by Berkeley Height's Runnells Hospital to thank the chapter for 20 years of dedicated volunteer services.

Every month Connolly would make the long drive through all kinds of weather up the mountain to deliver much appreciated personal items, bingo prizes, jewelry, and lap robes that chapter members had carefully crotched or knit. Connolly can no longer do this most arduous of trips and no volunteer has come forward.  So, going forward, the Club will instead be presenting a monetary gift to Runnells.
