PHOTO: Girl Scouts Fix Valley Road School's Planter

VRS's front lawn sign is blooming thanks to their hard work.

Valley Road School in Clark recently saw some improvements made courtesy of first grade Daisy Troop 41407.

The girls, together with their families, removed and replaced aged wood from a sign in front of the school. They then added new dirt, mulch, and planted new flowers.

The troop will oversee the care of this area by planting new flowers as needed throughout their scouting tenure as an ongoing community service project.

The troop would like to extend a special thanks to Stan Zawacki, who pre-cut the border and letters as well as to who discounted the planting supplies.
