Kumpf Boys Soccer Ends Season With 10-1-2 Record

Coach Caleb Bain credits the outstanding season to hard work, dedication and teamwork.

The Kumpf Cougars boy’s soccer team had expectations of winning six to maybe eight games for the season but ended the year with 10 wins, one loss and two ties. 

This is the first time the boys have had a record of at least 10 wins and one loss in more than 12 years. 

In his second year as head coach, Caleb Bain credits the outstanding season to hard work, dedication and teamwork.

The team was made up of 12 eighth graders and 12 seventh graders, 10 of whom started for the Kumpf Cougars. The Cougars were led by forward Greg Zukowski who scored 19 goals in just 13 games, midfielder George Visconti and stopper Zachary Thornton.
