Union County Hiking Club: Watchung Reservation

The Union County Hiking Club is hosting a hike January 12 in Watchung Reservation, Mountainside. 

Enjoy a moderate morning hike of about 4 miles with a mixture of level, easy walking and some elevation gain on possibly rough, icy terrain.  Stabilizers may be needed. 

Meet 10 am at Trailside Nature and Science Center.  Hike Leader: May Deas, 908-233-6641.  Steady rain or heavy snow cancels the hike.

The Union County Hiking Club offers a varied program of outdoor activities, providing wholesome recreation that boosts physical fitness.  Most events take place in central and northern NJ.  Membership dues are $10 annually.  Newcomers are invited to try out the club by participating in up to 3 outings before joining.
