Cranford Hosts Food, Fun and Fireworks on the 4th

The Cranford Canoe Club is hosting Canoe Races.  This event will take place this morning at 8:00 a.m. with registration at 7:30 a.m. 

The 32nd Annual Investors Savings Bank and the Cranford Jaycees Firecracker Four Mile Run.  This event will take place on Monday, July 4, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Nomahegan Park. Register online in advance or before the races at the park.

There will be a Bike Decorating Contest at Nomahegan Park starting at 1:30pm. Bring your decorated bike to enter!

Fun games for all ages will begin at 2:00 p.m. starting with an Egg Toss followed by our Backwards Race (Parent and Child). 

There will be food vendors in Nomahegan Park offering zeppoles, pork & beef barbecue, sausage and hot dogs, ice cream and assorted drinks from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The Cranford Recreation and Parks Department is hosting Fourth of July Fireworks at 9:05pm at Nomahegan Park to help honor Cranford's 140th Anniversary.  

RAIN DATE FOR FIREWORKS ONLY WILL BE ON TUESDAY, JULY 5th.
