CGSB president, Bill Smith, cites the 2012 season as one of the league’s most successful seasons with over 300 girls participating. “Last season we saw a growth in all areas of the association, not only on the field, but in the stands too. It’s such a great feeling seeing the bleachers filled with cheering parents and fans, alike,” said Smith.

Smith continues, “And we are looking forward to building on the success of the 2012 season by increasing the number of teams in each division, especially the instructional division (grades K-1). Last season, we had four teams and are looking to boost that number to at least six teams.”
