Clark Girls Softball Hosts Open Registration, Winter Clinics

The league is open to all girls in grades K-8, who reside in Clark, Garwood and Winfield, or attend private school in Clark.

The Clark Girls Softball League is happy to announce winter registration for the 2012 season will be held on Sunday, January 15. Registration will take place at the Brewer Recreational Center (Clark Municipal Building) from 6 - 8 p.m.

The league is open to all girls in grades K-8, who reside in Clark, Garwood and Winfield, or who attend private school in Clark Township. The 2012 season is slated to begin in mid-March and runs to early June.

CGSB president, Bill Smith, cites the 2011 season as one of the league’s most successful seasons with over 300 girls participating on 28 teams.  “Last season we saw a growth in all areas of the association, not only on the field, but in the stands too. And, we are looking forward to building on the success of this past season by increasing the number of teams in each division, especially the instructional division (grades K-1),” said Smith.
