The event is held among the high school cheer teams in Union County in an effort to raise money for the Children's Specialized Hospital. The cheer-swapping fundraiser teams in the county to teach and learn cheers from one another.

The ALJ Cheerleaders, along with the cheer teams from Elizabeth High School, Dayton High School, Cranford High School, and Rahway High School raised $400 for the cause.

"Event coordinator, Nikki Mulcahy (Cranford High School and Union County Snapple Bowl Coach), does an outstanding job uniting the Union County cheerleading teams," said ALJ Coach Lindsey Lerner.
