Unemployed? Union County College Holds a Job Fair Today

Five things you need to know today, Wednesday, May 4.

  1. Saint John the Apostle Catholic School in Clark is holding an , including tours of the school at 7:00 p.m. and a presentation about the school’s curriculum and programs at 7:30 p.m.  
  2. Un- or Under-employed? Looking for a job change?  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Recruiters from many businesses, including Wachovia, PNC Bank, UPS, FedEx, Cintas Corporation, Dunkin Donuts, ADF companies and many more are expected to attend. Come prepared to network with several copies of your most recent resume.
  3.  will hold Kindergarten Orientation this morning from 10 to 11:00 a.m. for students registered to begin kindergarten in September and their parents. Students will spend time in the kindergarten classrooms while parents hear an overview of the kindergarten program and meet with staff and PTA members.
  4. Register your youngsters for the program at the Clark Library happening today at 3:30 p.m. Children in grades kindergarten through grade 5 will listen to a story about Mothers’ Day and make a gift for mom, grandma or another special lady. A light snack will be provided. Registration is required. 
  5. A , Jr. will be held on tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Scotch Hills Country Club, 820 Jerusalem Road in Scotch Plains. Learn the details about the budget and how it will affect you. There will be a question and answer period with Senator Kean. All are welcome.
