Three ALJ Students Have Their Artwork Selected for Traveling Exhibit

The works of Angelo Fagan, Samantha Ring and Jimmy Douglas were critiqued and chosen by professional artists.

Three students from Arthur L. Johnson were recently selected to have their artwork tour as part of the 2012 Teen Arts Traveling Exhibit. Angelo Fagan, Samantha Ring and Jimmy Douglas participated along with other music, literature and art students at the annual two-day Union County Teen Arts Festival held at Union County College.

Fagan’s sculpture of a fireman’s hat, Douglas’s landscape photograph, and Ring’s acrylic guitar painting were critiqued by professional artists and received high enough marks to be included in the traveling exhibit.

The tour will display artwork from students throughout Union County. These works will tour the county at various local libraries, corporations and other sites until February 2013.
