St. Agnes School Celebrates Anti-Bullying Week

After a week-long anti-bullying awareness program, St. Agnes students were allowed to dress down and wear bold colors to celebrate their individuality and respect for each other.

This press release was submitted by St. Agnes School.

St. Agnes School finished up Anti-Bullying week with a BE BOLD… BE YOURSELF dress down day for students.  After a week-long anti-bullying awareness program, St. Agnes students were allowed to dress down to support BE BOLD day.  They were asked to wear bold colors to celebrate their individuality and respect for each other.

St. Agnes School spent the whole week promoting awareness of their ANTI-BULLYING program.  They began the week with displaying their Pinwheels for Peach project in front of their school along with a pajama day (Give Bullying a Rest), hat day (Put a Lid on Bullying), as well as taking an anti-bullying pledge and a demonstration by USA KARATE SCHOOL safety experts. Throughout the month of October, USA KARATE will be teaching the students how to be safer with some new karate moves. In the end the children are rewarded with trophies.

The program was embraced by all the students, teachers and parents of St. Agnes.  Anti-Bullying week was an awareness program put together by St. Agnes School’s Principal and the Home School Association.
