Registrations for Clark Little League, Youth Basketball, Garwood Yard Sale
Five things you need to know today, Thursday, Sept. 22.
- will be held tonight at the Clark Recreation Center from 7 to 8 p.m., as well as this Saturday, September 24 from 9 to 10 a.m. Clark Little League is open to all children who reside in Clark, Winfield Park and Garwood who will be at least 5 years old, but not older than 12 by April 30, 2012. - begins at the Clark Recreation Center from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night. Clark Recreation Basketball League is open to all boys and girls in grades 1 through 8 who attend public school or reside in Clark. The season begins in late November and ends in February. For more information, contact the Recreation Department at 732-388-3600 ext. 3009.
- Garwood residents: if you are planning to participate in this Saturday, Sept. 24, today is the yard sale registration deadline. Participants must register at Borough Hall in person or by calling 908-789-0710 or emailing kathleen@garwood.org. A list of participating households will be available to shoppers at Borough Hall on Saturday morning. Rain date for the sale is Sunday, September 25.

- The today, one at 10 a.m. and a second meeting at 7 p.m., whichever is most convenient. The Friends of the Library are the fundraising arm of the library and they are reaching out to the community for volunteers and support.
