PHOTOS: Johnson Cheerleaders Donate to St. John's Food Pantry

Johnson cheerleaders rally support for their teams – and the community.

Aside from cheering at the varsity basketball games and wrestling meets this winter season, the Johnson Cheerleaders have been busy helping the community.

On Thursday, Feb. 9, the cheerleaders helped to donate over 15 grocery bags of non-perishable items plus $295.56 to the St. John the Apostle Food Pantry. This community service project was coordinated by junior and team captain Alison Dugan.

The Johnson cheerleaders were stationed at A&P in Clark with posters, flyers, and signs educating the patrons about the charity event. Patrons graciously donated the items and money, making the fundraiser a great success.
