Clark Soccer Club U8 travel team goes pink for breast cancer awareness month.

Clark Soccer Club's U8 travel soccer team, Clark Thunder FC, stormed the pitch in pink this weekend at the Columbus Day Classic in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The tournament took place in Hazlet with the theme “Painting the Town Pink.” The hometown boys proudly sported pink wrist sweatbands and lace covers in support of a cure.

Thunder played hard and came away with victories in both their matches. “We are a brand new team coming into this tournament with just one game under our belts. The boys quickly found their chemistry and showed great heart. I’m excited for our next match,” said Head Coach Rosario Cundari.
