K-Kids members at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark celebrated the 3rd annual “JOY” Social (Joining Older & Younger).  Each K-Kid invited a special guest, grandparent or senior citizen to enjoy an afternoon of refreshments and BINGO.  Students attending without relatives were paired up with Hehnly teachers as special guests.  The social gathered over 200 people consisting of the K-Kids, their guests, Hehnly teachers, school Principal, Shirley Bergin, Superintendent of Schools, Kenneth Knops and Clark Kiwanis representatives.  Hehnly K-Kids is a service club as part of the Kiwanis organization, led by school nurse, Donna Kircher.  They are in their 3rd year with 91 members of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.  They meet 1-2 times per month and focus on various service projects.
