Deserted Villages of New Jersey Program

Join local historian Phil Jaeger at the Clark Library as he discusses some of the communities in New Jersey that have gone from being vibrant, bustling towns in centuries past to essentially deserted today.

Natural disasters, newer modes of transportation, and the end of certain industries are usually the cause. Mr. Jaeger will show the villages as they appeared in their prime and as they are today with many of the scenes presented in a "Then and Now" format.

This local history program is free and open to all. Please register on the library's website or by calling 732-388-5999.
