Colleen Nemeth Awarded Educational Support Professional of the Year in Clark

Awarded issued by Clark Education Association.

Colleen Nemeth was awarded the NJEA/ Clark Education Association Educational Support Person (ESP) of the Year for both her union related activities and professionalism in the work place.

Colleen first became involved in the CEA as an ESP representative two years ago. Colleen has grown to become an integral part of the Association, and a competent and informative ESP rep. She currently serves as corresponding secretary.

In her role as an administrative assistant in Special Services, Colleen is the consummate professional. Colleen provides guidance in a number of different areas including bedside tutoring. Her professional manner and attention to detail exemplify her dedication to the students of this district and her professional career.

Colleen is often present at school events where she has strong connections to the community. Being a resident of Clark gives her the advantage of real community ties and relationships. In this role she exemplifies and projects the values and expectations of an excellent education professional.

Maria Falzone, president of the CEA, awarded Colleen the plaque at a school assembly. Mrs. Falzone said, “I believe Colleen Nemeth strongly exemplifies the characteristics and actions of the ideal Education Support Professional.”
