Thomas Misiak – Clark's 6-12 Content Area Supervisor for Science, World Language, Business, and Technology – presented at the New Jersey Science Teachers’ Association annual convention at the Princeton Marriot at Forrestal on Oct. 16.
Misiak’s presentation discussed the role of labs in an inquiry-based science course, how to best implement those labs, and how student assessment data from those labs can be collected and analyzed to enhance instruction and identify the most successful classroom practices that foster student learning.
The presentation, given
in one of the venue’s largest conference rooms, was attended by teachers and
school administrators from across the state.
