Clark Board of Ed. Thanks PTA Presidents

The board honored Diane Kehrle, Dawn Pencinger, Karen DeMarco and Maria Weisensee.

The Clark Board of Education honored the four school PTA Presidents at the Board’s recent Showcase of Success on Jan. 10. The Showcase was in conjunction with school districts honoring volunteers during the month of January.

Each of the PTA Presidents: Diane Kehrle of, Dawn Pencinger from Karen DeMarco representing and Maria Weisensee for were present at the Showcase of Success and each was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by Board of Education President Laura Caliguire as an expression of the District’s appreciation of their ongoing dedication and commitment to the students, teachers, parents, staff and administration of the school community.

At the Board’s Showcase, Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Knops commented on how grateful he was to work with such talented, dedicated, and visionary leaders as the PTA Presidents.

In his address, Knops expressed his personal appreciation for everything the four presidents do on an ongoing basis for their respective schools and the district as a whole. Knops recounted how the PTA Presidents put time aside at each spring meeting to allow him and the Business Administrator an opportunity to present the upcoming school budget to the respective PTAs, his monthly meetings with the PTA presidents for the purpose of articulating a number of school-related issues, the enrichment and enhancements the PTA Presidents provide to the school community through their fundraising and sponsoring of assembly programs and educational initiatives, and their roles in creating the unique culture of each school.
