ALJ Student Earned Perfect Score on Math PSAT

Junior Jeffrey Corson was honored at the recent BOE meeting for his achievement.

Arthur L. Johnson High School junior Jeffrey Corson was honored at the Clark Board of Education’s recent April 9th meeting for his achievement of attaining a perfect score of 800 on the Mathematics section of his PSAT assessment,

At the Board of Education’s Showcase of Success, Director of Curriculum Ed Grande introduced Jeffrey to the assemblage, lauding him for attaining a perfect 800 score on the PSAT.  Grande also commented on Jeffrey’s altruistic orientation, citing the fact that Jeffrey is a member of the St. Agnes Church CYO where he has participated in a food drive among other activities.  Furthermore, Jeffrey is a member of the school’s Puppetry Club where he helps perform for children, promoting the theme of a love for reading to his impressionable audiences.

Grande mentioned that Mrs. Anne Marciano, Jeff’s current Math Analysis Honor s Teacher, had approached him on several occasions to inform him of Jeffrey’s immense aptitude for mathematics, his love of the subject area, and his creative problem solving skills.
