Summer Sports Camps Begin Today in Clark
Five things you need to know today, Monday, July 11.
- Today is a busy cleanup day for public works crews. In Clark, town-wide recycling, grass and ward 2 bulky waste will be collected. For Garwood’s south side residents, it's a household garbage collection day. Residents should have all trash curbside before 7 a.m.
- Do your kids love the thrill of sports and have a way with words? The Clark Recreation Department launches its today at the Recreation Center. The weeklong camp runs daily from 1 to 5 p.m., and culminates with participants calling play-by-play action on Friday night at the Somerset Patriots baseball game. - Teens in grades 6 through 12 can enjoy a free class today at 2 p.m. at the Clark Library. Learn about Yoga’s health and stress reducing benefits and try some fun poses. Dress comfortably and bing a yoga mat or large towel and a bottle of water. All are welcome, but registration is required. Go to clarklibrary.org or call 732-388-5999 to register.
- Clark Recreation Center begins a weeklong today. There are two daily sessions scheduled, with 5 to 7 year olds at 4 p.m. and 8 to 11 year olds at 5:30 p.m. For information call 732-563-2520.
