Former National Football League Star Al Singleton poses for a picture in the Principal’s Office of the Frank K. Hehnly School with Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso, and Mayor Bonaccorso’s son, Joey, a third grader at Hehnly School.
Al Singleton played in the National Football League for 11 years, with both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he won a Super Bowl in 2003, and the Dallas Cowboys. Singleton was in the school to deliver a presentation to third, fourth, and fifth graders on the topic of “Overcoming Obstacles to Achieve One’s Dreams in Life” on the occasion of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Mayor Bonnacorso spoke at the assembly program and introduced Singleton to a delighted audience of Frank K. Hehnly students.
