Five Things You Need to Know Today, Thursday, September 8
- Garwood School District’s opens today for all grades for the 2011-2012 school year. Students are to report to school at 8:15 a.m. Homeroom begins at 8:25 a.m. Today will be a full day session with student dismissal at 2:55 p.m.
- Today is the first day of school for juniors, seniors and student council members only. School begins at 8 a.m. and dismissal will be at 1:45 p.m. Tomorrow, Friday, September 9, is the first day for freshmen and sophomores only.
- Today is the first day of school for students entering grades 1 through 8. Students are asked to assemble outdoors on the first day of school. Families are welcome to attend the school’s Opening Liturgy 10 a.m. Today will be a shortened session with student dismissals at noon.
- ’s Kindergarten through 5th grade students only will attend their first day of school today. Kindergarteners are to report directly to their classrooms by 7:50 a.m. Students in grades 1 through 5 are asked to assemble on the playground outdoors. Grades 6 through 8 do not report for school today, but will return tomorrow. Dismissal for St. Agnes students will be at 12:00 p.m. all week.

Donations can be dropped off after 4 p.m. weekdays at the Knights Hall located at 37 South Avenue.
