Garwood Gets Online With Facebook Page, New Website

Garwood has made two big leaps recently to take communication online: The borough launched its own Facebook page and Garwood Council just approved a resolution to reinvent the borough's website.

At Tuesday's borough council meeting, Council President Sara Todisco said the website redesign, which has been awarded to Avenet Web Solutions, will be maintained by borough employees who will be trained on how to use it. Todisco said the cost, which was included in this year's budget, is about $3,000 with an annual maintenance cost of $600.
