Five Things You Need to Know Today, March 3

PTA, health screenings, financial management and more.

  1. The Clark Planning Board Meeting originally scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. 
  2. A sponsored by the Clark Health Department will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the Clark Recreation Center Cafeteria.  Free blood pressure screening, glucose testing and quick cholesterol screenings will be offered to Clark residents.  No Pre-registration required.
  3. Valley Road and Hehnly Elementary School students show off their scientific smarts tonight at the in the Kumpf Middle School Cafeteria.  All are welcome to view the projects on display from 7 to 8 p.m.
  4.  Kumpf Middle School holds its March at 7 p.m. in the school library.  Topics to be discussed include the 8th Grade Dance, end of year class trips, etc.
  5. The Union County Rutgers Cooperative Extension in Westfield presents , a free seminar on basic personal financial management from 7 to 9 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Contact the Extension Offices at 908-654-9854 ordtorres@ucnj.org.
