Union County Household Special Waste Collection at UCC
This event open to all Union County residents will take place rain or shine.
Materials accepted for safe and proper disposal include: aerosol cans, antifreeze, batteries, caustics, corrosives and cleaners, fire extinguishers, flourescent bulbs (unbroken), gasoline, mercury switches, motor oil and oil filters, oil based paints and varnishes, pesticides and herbicides, pool chemicals, solvents and thinners, thermostats, auto tires (limit 8 per household, no rims)
NO latex paint will be accepted. Only materials in original and labeled containers will be accepted. No containers larger than 5 gallons. Unknown or unidentified materials, explosives, radioactives and PCBs will NOT be accepted.
