The Garwood Blotter: Police Make Two DWI Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Garwood Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 25, 5:43 p.m. – Officer Kleinsorgen arrested Bertha McPhaul, 61, from Cranford for driving while intoxicated. While investigating a two car motor vehicle crash in the 500 block of North Avenue, Kleinsorgen determined McPhaul (one of the drivers) was intoxicated. McPhaul was arrested and charged with an improper turn - driving while intoxicated. She was released with a pending court date.

June 30, 1:30 a.m. – Sgt. Rocco arrested Mark B Aguiling, 21, of Cranford for driving while intoxicated. While performing a motor vehicle stop in the 300 block of Hickory Avenue, Aguiling was determined to be intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated – speeding – careless driving - failure to wear a seatbelt. He was released with a pending court date.
