Oct. 17, 7:52 p.m. – After investigating a motor vehicle crash with a bicyclist, Officer Kleinsorgen arrested the driver Rosario A. Castro, 54, from Garwood for failure to yield to a pedestrian, careless driving and driving while intoxicated. Castro was released with a pending court date.

Oct. 20, 10:16 p.m. – Officer Herz performed a motor vehicle stop in the 900 block of Center Street and upon his investigation the driver, Taylor E. Carvlho, 21, from Westfield was arrested and charged with driving with an obstructed view, suspended driver's license and possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Carvlho's passenger, Joshua Sanchez, 20, from Linden was arrested and charged with possession of CDS and underage drinking. Both Carvlho and Sanchez were released with pending court dates.

Oct. 18, 11:47 p.m. – After a Sgt. Rocco performed a motor vehicle stop in the 100 block of North Avenue, the driver Victoria Vega, 19, from Perth Amboy was arrested and charged with driving with an obstructed view, no seatbelt, failure to keep right, careless driving, possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Vega's passenger, Samantha P. Jelley, 19, from Edison was arrested and charged with- possession of CDS. Both Vega and Jelley were released with pending court dates.
Oct. 21, 3:06 a.m. – Officer Herz performed a motor vehicle stop on West Holly Street and upon his investigation, the driver Christian Breskin, 20, from Cranford was arrested and charged with speeding, possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances), possession of CDS in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia. Breskin's passenger, Azzriah Lazar, 18, from Edison, was arrested charged with possession of CDS. Both Breskin and Lazar were released with pending court dates.
