The Clark Blotter: Vehicle Stolen From School Street, Police Investigating

Vehicle Theft

Jan. 26, 6:08 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of a motor vehicle which was parked at a residence at 30 School Street. The incident is under investigation. Kenneth Gaulette was the investigating officer.

Criminal Mischief to a Vehicle

Jan. 22, 10:20 a.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence at 42 Terminal Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Pedro Oliveira was the investigating officer.

Theft

Jan. 22, 8:51 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at Retro Fitness at 225 Terminal Avenue. The incident is under investigation. Brian Soos was the investigating officer.

Possession

Jan. 24, 10:04 a.m. – In the vicinity of Broadway and Valley Road police arrested Wayne Mitchell, age 41, single, unemployed of 1905 Lennington Street in Rahway for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Mitchell was also detained on an outstanding warrant  from Linden for contempt  of court. Mitchell was subsequently released pending a court date on the Clark charges and then turned over to the Linden Police Department on their warrant. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrests

Jan. 23, 4:56 a.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Derek Granger, age 33, married, unemployed of 30 Mount Vernon Avenue in Irvington on an outstanding warrant for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) paraphernalia. Granger was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Ricardo Oliveira was the arresting officer.

Jan. 23, 10:05 p.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Jose Santos, age 33, single, unemployed of 214 Williams Street in Rahway on outstanding warrants from Holmdel, Rahway and Woodbridge totaling $4,200 for contempt of court. Santos was subsequently turned over to the Holmdel Police Department. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.
