The Clark Blotter: Vehicle Stolen From Kathryn Street, Police Investigating

Clark police activity from Feb. 4 - 11, 2013:

Stolen Vehicle

Feb. 8, 4:55 p.m. – Police took a report of a stolen motor vehicle at 39 Kathryn Street. The incident is under investigation. Thomas Sarnecki was the investigating officer.

Criminal Mischief to a Vehicle

Feb. 4, 12:38 p.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 132 Gertrude Street. The incident is under investigation. Marty Venezio was the investigating officer.

Fictitious Insurance Card

Feb. 7, 2:02 p.m. – In the vicinity of Ross Street and Colonial Drive, police arrested Khudia Rivers, age 25, single, a group home supervisor of 1110 Sheridan Avenue, Apt. B in Elizabeth for presenting a fictitious insurance card.  Rivers was also detained on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. She was subsequently released pending a court date. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Outstanding Warrants

Feb. 5, 10:11 p.m. – In the vicinity of 162 Central Avenue, police arrested Timothy Parker, age 43, single, a factory worker of 1144 West 5th Street in Plainfield on outstanding warrants totaling $2,221 from the Union Count Sheriff’s Department and Irvington, Union and Watchung for contempt of court. Parker was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Miguel Acabou was the arresting officer.
