The Clark Blotter: Two Theft From Motor Vehicle Incidents

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Aug. 1 - 8, 2011.

Aug. 8, 8:38 a.m. – In the vicinity of 1169 Lake Avenue, police arrested Douglas Lockley, age 36, single, unemployed of in 2 Ogden Street in Newark on an outstanding warrant from Plainfield for contempt of court. Lockley was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.  

Aug. 6, 10:36 a.m. – Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 14 Thomas Drive. The incident is under investigation. Marty Venezio was the investigating officer.

Aug. 5, 7 p.m. – In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Nicholas Lloyd-Kennington, age 18, single, unemployed of 103 Central Avenue in Ocean Grove for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Lloyd-Kennington was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. George Marmarou was the arresting officer.    

Aug. 5, 10:03 a.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested George Scott, age 36, single, a bail bonds agent of in 190 Lewis Street, Apt. #221 in Rahway on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. Scott was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Brian Renda was the arresting officer.

Aug. 2, 7:53 a.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 8 Hollander Hill Court.  The incident is under investigation. Det. Walter Merfert was the investigating officer.
