The Clark Blotter: Purse Stolen From Cart at ShopRite, Theft at Bally's, Shoplifting at Barnes & Noble

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Oct. 3 - 17, 2011.

Oct. 14, 6:37 p.m. – In the vicinity of 659 Madison Hill Road, police arrested Joshua Lutz, age 23, single, a construction worker of 2020 Clinton Street in Linden for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Lutz was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Kenneth Gaulette was the arresting officer.

Oct. 14, 1 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of a purse from a shopping cart at the at 76 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation.  Kenneth Gaulette was the investigating officer.

Oct. 10, 3:37 p.m. – Police took a report of a theft of a delivery package from the porch of a residence at 39 Kathryn Street. The incident is under investigation. Marty Venezio was the investigating officer. 

Oct. 9, 2:01 p.m. – Police took a report of two separate thefts of items from lockers at at 140 Central Avenue. The incidents are under investigation. Christopher Tuccio was the investigating officer.

Oct. 7, 2:56 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway Circle, police arrested Luis Ramos-Marquez, age 31, married, a laborer of 175 Field Place, Apt. #1D in the Bronx for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances), possession of CDS paraphernalia, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and obstruction. Ramos-Marquez was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Brian Renda was the arresting officer.

Oct. 6, 10:20 a.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at 72 Sweet Briar Drive. The incident is under investigation. Kenneth Gaulette was the Investing Officer.  

Oct. 5, 6:30 p.m. – At 1184 Raritan Road, police arrested Grace Diwane, age 59, married, unemployed of 188 South Martine Avenue in Fanwood for shoplifting at the at 1184 Raritan Road. Diwane was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Daniel Pitts was the arresting officer.

Oct. 4, 2:17 p.m. – In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Ksaidsme Barlow, age 34, single, unemployed of East Grand Street in Elizabeth on outstanding warrants from East Orange, Plainfield, Scotch Plains and the Union County Sheriff’s Department totaling $515 for contempt of court. Barlow was subsequently turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Department Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.
