The Clark Blotter: Police Make Two Shoplifting Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark Police activity from Nov. 14 - 28, 2011:

Nov. 16, 4:11 p.m. – In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Gregory Hunter, age 49, single, unemployed of 701 Cranford Avenue in Linden for shoplifting at the ShopRite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. Hunter was also detained on outstanding warrants from Rahway, Union and Woodbridge totaling $2,514 for contempt of court. Hunter was subsequently turned over to the Woodbridge Police Department. Daniel Pitts was the arresting officer.

Nov. 15, 4:07 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Madison Hill Road, police arrested Joseph Pacifico, age 51, single, unemployed of 1673 Irving Street in Rahway for shoplifting at the CVS Pharmacy at 60 Westfield Avenue. Pacifico was subsequently released pending a court date. John Ehling was the arresting officer.
