The Clark Blotter: Police Investigating Purse Stolen from Friendly's

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Oct. 15 - 29, 2012:

Stolen Purse

Oct. 23, 12:59 p.m. – Police took a report of a stolen purse from a patron of Friendly’s Restaurant at 1463 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Steven Francisco was the investigating officer.

Possession

Oct. 18, 7:45 p.m. – In the vicinity of Madison Hill Road, police arrested Gideon Korn-Wyatt, age 26, single, unemployed of 116 Forest Street in Montclair for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Korn-Wyatt was subsequently released pending a court date. Miguel Acabou was the arresting officer.

Oct. 19, 9:44 p.m. – In the vicinity of Union Street and Broadway, police arrested Mykia Crenshaw, age 19, single, a student of 124 Ridge Avenue in North Plainfield for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) and possessin of CDS paraphernalia.  Crenshaw was subsequently released pending a court date. Pedro Oliveira was the arresting officer.

Oct. 19, 11:42 p.m. – In the vicinity of Rivervale Court in Scotch Plains, police arrested Kyle Davey, age 40, single, a warehouseman of 86B Rivervale Court in Scotch Plains for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Davey was subsequently released pending a court date. Chris Lott was the arresting officer.

DUI/DWI

Oct. 23, 8:32 p.m – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Gurmit Bhatia, age 22, single, a student of 86B 476 Darwin Boulevard in Edison, New Jersey for DUI. Bhatia was subsequently released pending a court date. Daniel Joy was the arresting officer.

Oct. 27, 6:47 p.m. – At 122 Wyoming Street in Westfield, police arrested James Macaulay, age 36, single, unemployed of 122 Wyoming Street in Westfield for DWI. Macaulay was subsequently released pending a court date. Steven Francisco was the arresting officer.

Contempt of Court

Oct. 24, 10:42 a.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Edward Carter, age 38, married, unemployed of 330 Livingston Street in Westfield for contempt of court. Carter was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Ricardo Oliveira was the arresting officer.

Oct. 24, 4:37 p.m. – At 1010 Raritan Road, police arrested Master Moore, age 19, single, unemployed of 995 Chancellor Avenue in Irvington on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County for contempt of court. Moore was also charged with check fraud and forgery. Bail was set at $10,000 and Moore was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. John Ehling was the arresting officer.
