Rahway Man Arrested for Drug Possession, Intent to Distribute

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

March 29, 3:07 p.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Pragneshk Patel, age 27, single, a litigator of 1257 Bryant Street in Rahway for possession of controlled dangerous substances and possession with intent to distribute. Patel was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

March 28, 9:17 p.m. – In the vicinity of Starlite Drive, police arrested Elizabeth Azari, age 49, married, unemployed of 18 Revere Blvd. in Edison, New Jersey on an outstanding warrant from Edison for contempt of court. Azari was subsequently turned over to the Edison Police Department. Brian Soos was the arresting officer.

March 29, 9:46 p.m. – At the South Orange Police Department, police arrested James Artis, age 46, single, employment status unknown of 41 Johnson Road in West Orange on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $818 for contempt of court. Artis was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Sergio Henriques was the arresting officer.  

March 30, 2:47 p.m. – In the vicinity of Brant and Westfield Avenues, police arrested Charles McCartney, age 33, single, self-employed of 307 West Linden Avenue in Linden Jersey on an outstanding warrant for illegal possession of a handgun. McCartney was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

April 1, 11:41 a.m. – Clark Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle at 11 Schmidt Lane. Police are still investigating. Keith Meehan was the investigating officer.
