The Clark Blotter: Police Arrest Shoplifters at ShopRite and Marshalls

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from Sept. 16 - 24, 2012:

Shoplifting

Sept. 16, 5:48 p.m. – At 77 Central Avenue, police arrested Frank C. Simone, age 44, married, an electrician of 39 Lakeview Place, Apt. #6B in Verona for shoplifting at the Marshall’s Department Store. Simone was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Joshua Disano was the arresting officer.

Sept. 23, 5:36 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Maria Quigley, age 55, married, unemployed of 402 Walnut Avenue in Cranford for shoplifting at the Shop-Rite Supermarket. Quigley was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.

Burglary to a Motor Vehicle

Sept. 19, 8:22 a.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 15 Rose Terrace. The incident is under investigation. Kenneth Sarnecki was the investigating officer.

Possession

Sept. 19, 10:12 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Howard McLean, age 37, single, a roofer of 733 Wicker Court in Newark, New Jersey for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances) with intent to distribute. McLean was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Warrant Arrests

Sept. 19, 1:23 p.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Nicole Davidson, age 40, single, unemployed of 86 Longfellow Street in Carteret on an outstanding warrant from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department. Davidson was subsequently turned over to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

Sept. 21, 9:44 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway Circle, police arrested Gary G. Queseda-Jimenez, age 27, married, a loss prevention representative of 1005 Madison Avenue in Paterson for hindering apprehension in connection with an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,500 from Little Ferry. Queseda-Jimenez was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending court dates. Kenneth Gualette was the arresting officer.

Sept. 24, 10:56 a.m. – At the Monmouth County Jail, police arrested Brian Dante, age 41, single, unemployed of 2000 Route 18 North, Apt. #109 in Old Bridge on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 for possession of narcotics paraphernalia. Dante was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Ricardo Oliveira was the arresting officer.
