The Clark Blotter: Hawthorne Drive Youth Arrested for Drug Possession
The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Clark police activity from Oct. 16 - 31, 2011.
Oct. 16, 8:30 p.m. – In the vicinity of Charlotte Drive and Thomas Drive, police arrested Matthew Kent, age 22, single, a delivery person of 220 Hawthorne Drive for possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. George Marmarou was the arresting officer.
Oct. 28, 12:30 a.m. – In the vicinity of 1207 Raritan Road, police arrested Anand Kalyan, age 34, single, an engineer of 3110 Village Drive in Avenel for DUI (driving under the influence). Kalyan was subsequently released pending a court date. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.
