The Clark Blotter: Criminal Mischief to Sunset Drive Home, Warrant Arrests, DWI

The following arrest information was provided by the Clark Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Clark police activity from June 5 - June 18, 2012:

June 8, 2:43 p.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Kenroy Campbell, age 30, single, unemployed of 515 Mount Prospect Avenue, Apt. #15J in Newark on outstanding warrants totaling $1,500 for contempt of court. Campbell was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Det. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

June 11, 1:02 a.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Terina Jones, age 36, single, unemployed of 5 Wesley Court in Mount Holly on outstanding warrants from Elizabeth, Linden and Whippany totaling $939 for contempt of court. Jones was subsequently turned over to the Linden Police Department. Joshua Disano was the arresting officer.

June 14, 8:14 a.m. – In the vicinity of Kennedy Drive, police arrested Steven Tekel, age 44, married, a location coordinator of 1908 Oxford Avenue in South Plainfield on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 from Union for contempt of court. Tekel was subsequently turned over to the Union Police Department. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.  

June 14, 12:48 p.m. – Police took a report of criminal mischief to a residence at 31 Sunset Drive. The incident is under investigation. Omer Olmeda was the investigating officer.

June 15, 12:45 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway southbound, police arrested Derek Granger, age 36, married, unemployed of 30 Mount Vernon Avenue in Irvington on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court and possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substances). Also arrested were Lindsay Hayes, age 44, single, unemployed of 891 South 14th Street in Newark on an outstanding warrant from the Union County Sheriff’s Department and possession of CDS and Felecia Barr, age 52, single, unemployed also of 891 South 14th Street in Newark on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court and credit card fraud. Bail was set at $10,000 for Granger and Barr and $15,000.00 for Hayes. All three individuals were subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Antonio Manata was the arresting officer.

June 16, 9:53 a.m. – At the Newark Police Department, police arrested Jack Poffenberger, age 46, single, a construction worker of 1143 St. Georges Avenue in Rahway on outstanding warrants totaling $1,300 for contempt of court. Poffenberger was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Omer Olmeda was the investigating officer.

June 16, 11:22 p.m. – In the vicinity of 118 Central Avenue, police arrested Darren Kucab, age 28, single, a security officer of 3 Commonwealth Road in Kenilworth for DWI (driving while intoxicated). Kucab was subsequently released pending a court date. Sergio Henriques was the arresting officer.
